siren676 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Stopped riding about 3 years ago when i got into modding the starlet Use to do cross country in my college team but i made the mistake of getting a full suspension downhill mountain bike which weighed 1/2 a ton so didnt like going up hills. It was a tank on the downhills and jumps though.Should really start riding again and get some exercise. Quote

The Toffinator Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 It IS better to have a full susser when general trail riding, but only because its a bit comfier and you can travel quicker up/down and across ground due to it absorbing bumps etc. Not neccesarily more fun though as you ride them differently Quote
jham Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 Sorry to keep dragging this up, Ive just found a bike that im interested in.Only concern is it would appear the owner has switched the brakes to the rear brake is on the right hand side.I dont think i coulkd get used to this. Would it just be a case of removing cable from leaver then switching them round do you think? Quote
