scoot Posted April 8, 2007 Author Share Posted April 8, 2007 That is freekin awsome!!!!some lovely unique touches there, cant wait for scoot to show his face and give us a run down on the spec My mate has a black corsa c with the same wheels and it looks the bizz, good choice corsa did you meen pretendy starlet? only joking.......firstly,many people regard my motor as a bit of a cheat which strictly speaking i suppose it is.its running a welded and ballanced long stroke crank which takes the cappacity to 1490cc.this combined with the lightened flywheel lets it rev to 8500 quite safely.the turbo is a hibrid 04/05 which pushes gas through a front mount from an iveco truck and custom pipes to a 68mm throttle body and the modded 4 branch mani.the head is a full toyota factory race job(dont ask)pistons are low compression forged type and are connected using carillo rods.440cc injectors provide 98oct fuel and are controled by an afc2 piggy back.most of the other stuff is pretty much the norm,magnacore leads,de cat,2.5 inch exhaust etc.it puts the power down(or at least tries to)through an lsd and yokahama prada tires which i can highly recommend.when first built it showed 297whp(it doesnt loose too much courtisy of the straight cut cr box)there are starlets out there with even bigger hp figures but most have had to loose the air con which i would loose to see how far i could take it but janice thinks its a bit of a handfull as it is and wouldnd drive it at all if it had any more power Quote Link to post Share on other sites

(reduce the thickness, but only on the inside of the crank, top of the cylinder head goes further down)Interesting arm-rest, hollow or any thing interesting hid inside?
