A L 3 X
UPDATE: can people who are running excel gs and 40mm springs give me some feedback? Thinking of going for these? Edited March 14, 2012 by A L 3 X
string
had this twice mate. Lowered 40 on standard shocks. Good for a bit and then shocks leaked etc and the springs then do all the work. Bouncy ride etc when ya cars stationary try pressin down to check suspension. Mine was rock solid. Definatly new shocks/coilovers needed
Starlet__SR
Go for some KYB Excel G gas shocks. Great for a lowering spring setup. Older shocks are oil filled and tend to overheat quickly. D

DI had these on my old Mazda after I lowered it and they were good, am I alright using those though as obviously they're standard replacments and not shorter ones? A L 3 X
Anyone give me some opinions of excel gs on lowered springs?
Amjad
Toffinator uses them and rates them very highly with 40mm springs. Check his build in the '91 NA section
H_D
I used KYB sr special shocks (the blue ones) with srs springs (40mm) on 16s bit too stiff for my liking
