miib14 Posted January 20, 2012 Author Share Posted January 20, 2012 thought i had knckered the diff in the box butfound out that it wasnt the box, it was the drivers side inner cv jointtook the shaft out and it literally fell into 2 piecesso went and picked up another shaft and started to swap them overwhere its been cut, shortened and welded againthe length of the drivers side shaftand before you ask, i used a gen7 vvti celica shaft (same as gen6)bought this filter for cheapused celica gear linkages... cut and weld 1 as it was tooo long (just a temp fix at the min)my clocksand been scapping the underside of my car ALOT, this maybe the reason... miib14 Posted March 13, 2012 Author Share Posted March 13, 2012 i got the anodised paint and decided to paint the wheels... all im going to say is i am most definetly not the best guy to be painting these alloys but oh well lolbefore...after...basically the spray is like a tint, it works best with the chrome under it... the black bits are still there because when i tryed to sand it down it started to get worse so just left it and painted over it...hopefully in the near future il give the wheel to a metal polisher so he can bring out the shine/ chrome and il paint over it again.. :twisted:heres the other wheelbefore..after...and some info about the TOM'S New Actionspainted the rad brackets tooo Quote Link to post Share on other sites
