550cc 0r whats best for td04 ?

hi as above what are the best cc injectors for a td04 conversion on my forged engine going for about 1.4 bar of boost or more if i can , ive got 550cc injectors at the moment but im unsure if they may be to much ? any help ?

that is over kill, i have heard some starlet have idle problem when they have very large injectors.

for 1.4 on a td04 i think you only would need no bigger than 440's and that would go up to 1.6 bar as well if you like.

460s can support 300 plus. most people go for 460 with td04 at 1.4/.5

It's more with the tune than anything. I have run rx7 550's in the past (which are hose pipes essentially) and have had no problems with idle. Sure if the injectors were in the inlet rather than in the head you might have a problem.

440cc mitsi vr4 injectors are good, they have a very good spray pattern and mist well.

So will I just stay with the stock ones as race tech said or will I try and go for some 440s ? As I want the best I can get out the td04 and does anyone want to buy some sard550cc injectors then new except when I tried to run it with them in until I changed them

I was running stocks at 1.3 bar no issues, can't remember what duty they were at tho

If you were running stock injectors were you using up rated fuel pump and fuel reg.

Get 440cc or 460cc at that boost, don't think about running stock the duty cycle will be way too high.

If they're aftermarket Sard's then the spray pattern should be pretty good - its only the rx7 ones that people complain about but I've never had any issues with them. As long as your running a half decent ecu the Sard550's should be fine.
