Ryno
no but an alarm will save you throwing all your money into a car and wakin up to it gone in the morning.also car shouldnt be modded beyond braking and handling capabilities if its the first mod ;)guess un-like some people i value life more then worldly possessions. Plus i have insurance for if it's stolen!Alarms arn't the only way to stop a car being stolen, but if someone wants it bad enough, there isn't really a way to stop them taking it.and yeah...the rest of that quote is kinda covered in my first post

No-one would expect a tea leaf to be drivin a green 5 door starlet! ;) Personally i always have a cat 1 alarm fitted as a first mod so i get lower insurance premiums and i can sleep at night knowing my car is as safe as i can reasonably make it! I also use a stoplok, not a huge expense but may mean the difference between my car or the next doors car bein nicked!

KellyGT
guess un-like some people i value life more then worldly possessions.so ok lets get this right..........firstly i dont value life? hmmmmmmm........ and secondly these starlets and glanza's etc are such bad breaking and handling standard that they need modifying first?!? how did these cars make it through production or even pass SVA test when brought into the UK?

Nanglebadger
^^^sounds a good job there G mate!!!!@Paul W, yeah i hear ya man, i also use a bloody great chain and pad lock that goes round my drivers seat subframe and through the steerin wheel, u'd need a hell of a set of bolt cutters to get through it co its a thick mofo of a chain! as u say, not much but may mean the difference between mine and someone else's.Phil. BoostJunkie
i've got a cat 1 toad on mine dont know what kind got it with the car,and paul mate crook locks are pish sorry but if somebody wanted to steal it all they'd need to do is saw through your steering wheel then crook lock is off. Speed is needed to steal a car, having to saw thru the steering wheel takes up time that most theives dont wanna waste, risking getting caught.
