That's how I did it yeah, not sure how everybody else goes about doing it but I thought if you did it on a ramp and marked it with the ARB extended more it won't have as much of an effect? Or am I wrong here?

You can sit it on axle stands then use a trolley jack to bring the beam upto the height your car normally sits at - then you can still get under it.

why didnt i think of that will have to kick my step dad out the garage tomorrow then cheers guys :-)

I believe there most effective when there perpendicular the the rear beam also be weary where you put your brackets as I drilled through my exhaust mount! Some people put a plate on the back side of the cassis arm to stop you from tightening the bots and squashing the chassis.
