Jamie1st
Yo!Well I'm pretty much at the stage for sending my car in for mapping, I'm still however in need of an EBC.Right, do the £200 Gizzmo jobbies do the trick (1.5Bar, hopefully 2 stage boost set up) OR will I be wasting my money on something that will last 5 min and pack up?Give me some options folks as there's sooo many!Cheeeerrrrz. Liam_D
I have a Blitz dual SBC and its pretty awesome to be honest, has three different boost settings and a setting to choose at what revs the boost comes in
Idrees
We fitted a Gizzmo in my brothers GT (TD04 set-up) and neither of us liked it. It always had some small issue with creep and wasn't easy to use, I don't understand why people go on about how easy they are to use (and I am not just saying this as I'm selling a Blitz). On the other hand, Blitz DSBC are great, especially the R-Spec, as well as Apexi AVCR. Them too are my favourites, and I have one of each in both my Glanzas. Selling the Blitz to fund for the respray though, as mentioned above (cheers Micky).
Jozinobi
Put the £200 towards a Blitz mate I got mine off eBay for 180 and it hasnt missed a beat (once set up properly)Only thing that can go wrong are the solenoids.Go for the Spec R, VERY reliable, even more so than the Greddys. There are a fair number of control unit versions as the design changed every few years or so.Joz
