Asad
Just to add my 2pAccelerating slowly is the key i find, theres no point watching the gauge our tanks are a werid shape i find the first half takes ages to drop then at half way theres roughly £10-15 worth of fuel in the tank so it falls like a mofocheck the fuel pressure/coolant temp sensor/lambda sensor....mapping should deffo help things across the board also check the base ignition timing my old N/A drank loads when i did the "ignition advance" mod when turned back it was like day and nightgetting 35ish is great for our cars imo
Driver
i thought the blitz ECU would have helped mine.nope.Phil.The Blitz/Jam ECUs are notoriously terrible as they run a tad rich to be safer and make power by pulling more timing (The power is from what ive read, no personal experiance)I dont trust them at anything more then a ct9 at a bar personally. If you throw a stock ECU and an EMB/EMU with a good map it will increase shitloads. On a run mine got 450 miles to a tank !
Amjad
On a run mine got 450 miles to a tank !I need to get mine mapped the exact same way you did then
Driver
I need to get mine mapped the exact same way you did then To be honest it was on Motorway cruising between 65-80 at between 11pm and 5am so no traffic to contend with. But was dead happy when i noticed the fuel guage hardly moving !

Driver
That's nuts though most I've seen anyone from a GT/Glanza is like 350 max!Mine was wierd .... Did 1.5bar daily on a stock engine with stock fuel pump/injectors/fpr also ....I trusted Ricky when he was tuning and said it could take more and got good power, good response and as per origonal topic ... Good MPGs when not giving it too much stick. Man i miss that car

F3rAL
That's good! My NA only just about gets thatI am starting to think that there is something wrong with my N/A . Today replaced spark plugs with Denso Iridium ones, and will see how it goes, I will try to drive like an old lady
Amjad
I do have a bit of fun now and again so it sounds like it. If I just do town driving however I get about 240/250 as most of the time it's cold starts. A few motorway journeys and I can get 280-
Lukew360
I always thought the stock fuel pressure was about 45 psi?! Maybe yours is to low?

Lukew360
http://www.toyotagtturbo.com/forums/showwiki.php?title=How+to+Install+a+Fuel+Pressure+RegulatorAt the bottom of that topic he's set his fuel pressure to 45psi/3.1bar. Says it's a standard setting for 1bar of boost?
