Shifter Assembly base

does anyone have any close up pictures of the big yellow/white plastic assembly base that the shifter is built into??

i need to see the rubber bushes that the 4 bolts go through and into the body.

Having had a quick look arround it would see the base is the same size and spec as the ones on the GT4 lol

so the thing i have in mind should work, but i would need someone to test fit the item for us to make sure its 100% the same.

hmm looks like shifter assemblies on the ep8* and the ep9* are different.

anyone know if theres a difference between n/a and turbo??

yup all different. ep82 and ep91 differ ep85 and ep95 differ and i believe the bases differ beetween na and sr

lol great fun, i wonder how the short shifter kits available on here from years ago mentioned they fitted all the cars. or was that just the bushes that the assemblies sit on not the actual shifter themselves.

the bushes and the actual shifter are the same the only slight differences are the casing and the white cups at the end of the selector cables and the relevant balls they clip on to on the shifter if i remeber correctly the ep82 ones are smaller then the ep91's n/a and turbo are interchangable for the 91's. not sure about the ep*5 versions as ive never seen a shifter off one of those.

its only really the bushings im worried about to be fair.

With the tc short shifter kits they can with solid raised bushes that fitted all models I believe.

DeanRW is bringing some shortshift kits out for the relevant models, not sure what he's using.
