Flaminsam
Hey guys and girls. Does anybody actually know the driveshaft/hub nut torque setting on a ep82? I think mine are loose. When you manover to park when you app,y the brakes the pedal has slightly more travel than usual. I've jacked the front up and checked for play and there is a slight ammount. I've tightened the hub nut with my breaker bar but not gone mental on it. (in fear for breaking my premium halfrauds quality tool) Any help much appreciated.

rinseep82
I think it's 180nm mate I had a wheel bearing done at a garage when I first got my ep82 I don't kno much about them then and he told me it had worn fast because it had not been tightend right and he said hed tourqed it to 180 iev never had any problems with it
Flaminsam
Cheers rinse. I'm guessing the n/a torque setting will be the same? Just so I can see if its on auto data.

TrisK
i think autodata says is 216nm
Flaminsam
And trisk is the winner! As per auto data 216NM
grimr3ap3r_
just for your info a na does not use the same cv joints
Flaminsam
Yea that's ok grim. The front wheel bearings are the same and therefore the outer CV /driveshaft nut should be torqued to 216NM.
