Fuel filter removal Help!

Tried removing my fuel filter today but I can't seem to get the bottom nut undone! It turns so far then just seizes even with loads of WD40.

Anybody had this problem before?

best thing dude, is to take the pipe off where it comes up from the bulk head and take the filter out with the pipe still on and try it that way, happens on most jap cars tbh

Is there another bolt to undo that is further down the pipe then?

sorry dude got confused,

just looked at mine, is the filter still attached to the bulk head, if its not this will make it hard to undo

It isn't but it can be, it's the bottom 14mm nut at the bottom of the filter and it just won't budge either way!

put it back on the bulk head and see how you get on then

Was gonna say heat it up but then i remembered fuel... lol

You need more leverage, bigger bar maybe.

Only problem being is the more I go at it the more the nut is starting to round off :/ think I'm just going to have to get some grips on there

Single hex short 14mm 3/8 with 8'' bar will do the trick, plenty of wd40, let it soak, wire brush any shit off if you can.

EXACTLY the problem i had mate!! even when it was bolted to the bulk head the bracket just twisted. Took it off and tried to grip it with my hands and use a spanner but i couldn't hold it.

Most stupid, fucking idiotic, retarded place to locate a fucking fuel filter toyota!! Not everyone has little jap hands that can fit down the gap of a nuns minge ffs.

.......... Anyway, i left mine and never have changed it till this day.

Ive got some wurth stuff here mate thats better than wd40 mine came off pretty easy
