Looking for a sealant to redo my sump but need it here quick so looking for next day delivery would this sealant from toolstation have work ok? It says its oil resistant but is it flexible and suitable for the sump, anyone used it?

As above, copper or the equivalent black one I used, both are good

If you use that polyurethane one I believe it will be like tiger seal and the sump won't be coming off again

surely it will come off if I pry at it with a crowbar or hit it with a bit of wood and hammer to spread weight? I can't wait days for halfords to deliver, I need the car back on the road no later than tue.

do you not have a local motor factors or halfords? im sure they stock sump sealant thats where i got mine from

ive also used the loctite stuff from halfruds

Can't you get a lift to halfords mate? That stuff won't be guaranteed to come Tuesday anyway but seriously, with the loctite stuff I had to force my sump off and bend it in places and had to straighten it out before refitting, so that pu stuff will be a right pain in the arse

closest halfords is around 70 miles away. Yeah can go to motor factors but they don't have a clue and are totally useless plus there 17 miles away so need to know what product(s) i'm looking and that are suitable for before I go.
