Could a few glanza owners look at the plug on their tps and look how many wires it has and what shape it is. I had a look at ro55ifumi's yesterday and his has three wires, one black, one brown, one yellow and its squarish plug. My tps has the same connection but I can't find the relevant plug where it should be is another plug with 4 wires 3 of which are the same. So I'm guessing there are 2 types.

Any help appreciated.

No the one that was on the engine was smashed when I bought it but I had another tps at home so I swapped it over. Now I'm wondering if the are 2 different types.

Most turbo manuals and N/As have the 3wire one, actually it's not a tps, just a 2 position switch, idle and full open.

Autos have always the 4wire tps, full variable resistance one.

I thought that 20v 4age had 4wire ones....

Also, the 3wire is operating on a D shaped throttle axle, but 4wire one operate on a double latch type axle.

When changing to 4wire for a standalone should need the tb also.

Else a common colvern type tps will work on the place of 3wire sensor
