morgey Posted December 18, 2012 Share Posted December 18, 2012 more support, on honda's it sits in the center on the flywheel/crankshaft and comes as part of a clutch kit. i guess it supports the shaft when the clutch is released minamising shaft movement and prolonging the life of the first bearing in the gearbox.that is just a guess so might be wrong lol Quote Link to post Share on other sites
yaristurbo Posted December 18, 2012 Share Posted December 18, 2012 Do these boxs have trouble with main shaft bearings?Think the dowels place a big part of shaft alignment, we just had a evo smash a twin plate carbon clutch due to dowels being left out and box.
