DTA ecu and coil swap

Recommended Posts

Yer machined the p/s pulley off. On my old GT I had a stock bottom pulley with trigger wheel on, ill get some pics of that later if you want to see how I done mine.

If you machine the toothed wheel like in the pictures you get a nice fitting aligned wheel

i think if your going to the hassle of a new ecu best to use new sensor instead of the old stock ones. my trigger wheel is mounted onto one of the light weight alloy ones on the outside. the pulley was drilled and tapped on a milling machine to get it aligned spot on then a boss is bolted onto the pulley then that is drilled and tapped again for the trigger wheel. then its all fitted nice. this needs to be done right no botches as if your trigger wheel is off slightly, or your crank sensor falls off or moves. you wont be going far lol.
