I've been offered some D2 coilovers for a great price, just wondered if anyone could give me a heads up on how they perform, I've heard they're exceedingly stiff, the term "spine buster" was used. Is that about right?

I have driven with D2's for about 4 years now and i can tell you even on the softest settings they are rock hard, so hard in fact if you sit on the corner of the car and jump on it it moves about 1mm.

They are way too hard for the road really, amazing on the track but do your back no good as a daily lol, i dont really care though as its my play car so doesnt bother me.

Does handle like its on rails though :p

you can always adjust the hardness by lowering the tyre pressure

200 quid isn't too bad tho. worth a try for sure.
