car steering allover place feels like theres play in the steering

whilst driving the steering is all over the place and feels like theres lots of play in wheel , done it since I bought it any ideas ?? help much appreciated

things to check, some of them its just a case of giving them a yank to check for play

tyre pressures

ball joints

track rods

suspension top mounts

broken springs

fucked shocks

knackered steering rack

old bushes

im sure theres something else im forgetting :/

Shockers or ball joints are fucked id say. Quite a common things with starlet people have been battling wavy steering on these for years.

Too much toe out, gettin granny spec wheel alignment when using alloys. More camber on one wheel than the other is pretty common. Hey, at least it.isnt a honda lol

Driving on a flat straight road such as the motorway, if she wandering but doesnt really pull tp one side or the other Id say have your alignment And camber checked. It usually free to have it checked.

Have u done anything new lately, what is.your spec and is there any knocking

Are your front wheels cock eyed. Alot of toe out can make your steering free usresponsive
