paul w
This is why i keep one in the garage just incase they get difficult at mot time.Only takes 10 mins to swap em over. ;)
StarletRick
10 minutes? you having a laugh!!!! also, you DO NOT need a cat for mot. there is no uk equivalant, therefore you only need to pass the fast idle test. and if you fail that, theres something wrong with your car. IF you get a fail, you need to point out that the car is an import and has a different engine, because noob MOT places use the 4efe as a guide. remember, im never wrong ;)
Glanza_Ragger
If the testers told me i had failed id bend them over and get the lube outSorry but they will pass easily with out cats, ive allready told many people on here that they will.As VTRick said, comes under fast idle test only. No visual cat check etc. If they fail it, there testing it against a n/a 4efe guide.Tell them .. OIT NO!...then bend them over
