i had 40mm pi springs on my n/a. but thinking about it dont do it on the cheap. get a spring and shocks package if you can because low springs on standard shocks is really poor after a while mate. before there was no problem but the ride is terrible after a while.

mate, i was in the same position as you. I wanted to lower my car but had to get the right balance between how much I wanted to spend and knackering up my standard suspension. Like Keirz said, the lower you go on standard shocks the worse it's going to be in the longrun.

Best bet is the standard SR springs 25mm or something similar. I have really high quality RS*R springs on my starlet with standard shocks. They work great, awesome handling, better looks and superb quality.

well ive got no complaints about my PIs -40mm.

i did however replace the shocks with new (but not aftermarket) ones wen i replaced it as they on ther way out

£100 it cost me with bumpstops...which are worth it!
