But fuelled properly - Does that mean it's always topped up with petty? Or something to do with injectors, fuel rail etc.. Amjad Posted May 3, 2013 Share Posted May 3, 2013 No basically, the stock ECU can fuel until about 0.75bar on it's own. At 0.8bar fuel cut kicks in (feels like you hit a brick wall) You can get around this by running a Fuel Cut Defender, but it'll make the engine run lean and that way it will go pop. But if you combine it with a rising rate fuel pressure regulator, and get the two set up on a dyno then you can run that setup to 1 bar safely. This is bit crude though, so a plug and play ECU or Emanage Blue/Gold/Ultimate piggyback will be more finely tuned and reliable.
