AndyMB
My clutch has started to squeak when being depressed. Sounds like a seagull! You can feel it getting tight as you go further down. Tried spraying it with spray lube but no luck. Don't think it's the cable. Any ideas?
rinseep82
It's deffo not the cable because they are hydraulic baybe the clutch release bearing mate
daniel_g
Theres a spring above your left foot that can squeek. Or is the squeek coming from inside the gearbox ??

rinseep82
Is it Cumming from inside the car??
AndyMB
Pretty sure it's inside the car, seen that spring, tried spraying it in oil. Pretty sure it's that, has that kind of rough squeak to it. Can you buy new ones anywhere? Or can it be quietened down? Doing my head in!
5T4R7ET N/A
mine does the same and i had it before in my other starlet. only happens when you push the cluch down the squeak comes from under the the rubber boot were clutch slave cylinder arm is making contact with the clutch fork.
