StuDoc 72
Use a sharp thin blade screwdriver or wallpaper scraper and go round the edges its most likely being held on by silicon.
EPnick22
yeah its been glued to fuck :/ just curious in case i damaged it while something else was bolted up, cheers buddy ill try it now
StuDoc 72
Nah if youre sure there is no other bolts then just scrape away. Sumps are pretty basic bits of metal punched out in a press theres nothing to damage other than the lip itself. So long as you dont stick it in too far youll be fine. turbo Grant
Beat them off with a hammer and screw driver. Just bend the bits back afterwards. As long as they are prepped properly before resealing it won't leak
EPnick22
well it certainly is putting up a good fight right now haha :/
StuDoc 72
Good Luck sealing it again. I've heard starlets are a fucking nightmare because the sumps are paper thin and just warp when you tighten them.
Patches
I got mine off using a crow bar.Took mine off the other week because it was leaking. Be very careful when tightening up the bolts. 2 of the threads in the block on mine have been stripped and its leaking worse than before. Fucking nightmare. My sumps all dented at the bottom as well so i guess its time for a new one
