SiCaln Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 I spotted this on ebayClick hereand thought it looked like pretty impressive work so i checked out there site:www.headtune.co.ukThe work carried out is:• All casting, pitting & boring marks removed & smoothed• Internally re-profiled and highly polished• Obstructive screw-ends ground into spindle• Perfect horizontal opening of butterfly plate• Chemically cleaned• Fully lubricatedSeeing that they have worked on other Toyota models I asked if they would do the same work for our N/As, Vs and GTs.They said they would for £45 and £7 p&p, but this will go down if we have a bulk buy.So if anyone is interested, just drop your name down here and ll report and further information i recieve.cheers Si Quote

scutch0 Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 hmmm i need a spare t/b...i may be interested.. Quote
SiCaln Posted September 26, 2007 Author Posted September 26, 2007 ill wait for them to get back to me, bout availability and the possibility of head work and ill let u know what i hear - sounds like there could be a few interested tho which is good Quote
SiCaln Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 they will also do headwork for us too, but i found this on their site and i think im gna get it done on my spare inlet maniSpec-R manii have asked for a quote but on there they vary from £130-175, so pretty reasonable i reckon, here is the work they carry outany interest, let me know they also thoroughly clean and degrease, and usually finish in our own black or red heat-resistant gloss colour coat. Other colours (blue, white, silver) are available for an additional fee. Quote
SiCaln Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 yea wasnt gna do the head work but inlet and tbs sound promising to me, not too expensive either Quote
SiCaln Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 got an email back, im gna do itI cannot quote for the inlet manifold without seeing it first, though the price is likely to be £130 - maybe as low as £100. Throttle body £45, insured return postage £20 for both items. Quote
Mikey Jay Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 I have no inlet mani to modify Will be a bit pricey to have 4 throttle bodies done methinks....Worth it though? Quote
SiCaln Posted September 28, 2007 Author Posted September 28, 2007 prob wont need it to be honest squire Quote
Mikey Jay Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 When I convert to open throttle bodies might be worth looking into though, for purposes of efficiency and working well rather than power Quote
