another oily breathe to what could it be bad

Hi all.

Opened the bonnent this morning to see some oil around the bottom of the breather filter and on rocket cover any ideas of what this could be.

You still running a PCV mate?

Failing that it's down to a cylinder sealing issue as to why there's too much crank case pressure.

Hi mate yeah still using pvc valve could this be blocked it seems to be about two tea spoons of oil but never happened before is there any checks I can do help much appreciated

I've seen the PCV give similar problems before, but it does close under boost, meaning you only have the one breather working.

It's just a one way check valve, believe you should be able to blow through one end and not the other like. Although if you pull it out, you'll likely have to get a new one as they tend to break quite a lot.

I'd also do a compression test just to make sure.

Check the PCV and do a compression test like said. It is a sign of worn rings tho.
