white-gt
Hi fellas, i recently refitted a hybrid on with the same hks actuator and mbc etc which is all good. i finally got it sitting at 1 bar via the mbc but! it was running about .9 bar and it just didnt feel that great, i then adjusted it very slightly to 1 bar and the car spooled so much quicker and took off, seriously! i thought great! awsome! but again it seems to have slowed down and doesnt take off as well as it did any more, its hard to explain. it still pulls decent etc but not how it should i dont think. i do have a slight crack in the mani but even still. no boost leaks as i checked them.is it possible its an actuator issue or mbc? when it was rolling roaded it performed a load better when the mbc was fitted as the actaator took longer to spool up etc, not sure if that helps. Currently running a dastek unit with all supporting mods etc. whats your thoughts?
pick1
Is the actuator sticking dude check that the arm etc moves freely as that can hd your boost bk and not let it go full chat
mikey4410
tbh a small/little crack in mani can make a big difference to it boosting. whats your air /fuel like at wot ?
white-gt
Thanks for the replies. I've no idea what the AFR is.. I need to get a gauge tbh. When it was on the rollers on a standard ct9 arb 1 bar it was about 12 AFR on wotI'll check the arm but I'm sure it was fine when I last looked.. jezza
I mentioned last time, I dropped about 40 brake with a badly cracked mani. You might find the power drops as the mani heats up and crack opens.
white-gt
its not badly cracked though, it will be getting replaced at some point soon though. i will try take a pic of the power graph for you guys to see.
white-gt
this was on a standard ct9. the red graph was using the actuator alone, and then blue was with the mbc. Edited July 30, 2013 by white-gt
