TurboTobz Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 adjust throttle pulley/tps/clean or replace icv/vacuum leak The search function should bring up the usual suspectsidle screw in inlet aswell Quote
PaulStarletSR Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Leak of the vacuum variety.fuckin sick of vac leaks adjust throttle pulley/tps/clean or replace icv/vacuum leak The search function should bring up the usual suspectsidle screw in inlet aswellDO NOT touch the idle screw, wont be that if its just started doin it. just check tps and clean icv.also check if your dizzy is loose Quote
TurboTobz Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Could have vibrated itself back off nothing wrong with adjusting it with that screw if there's any adjustment left on it Quote
PaulStarletSR Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 would check everythin else first before resortin to the screw tho. just to b safe Quote
PaulStarletSR Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 What's unsafe about the idle screw? now your splittin hairs. check the more obvious things before goin for the screw because if he does the screw first, then the others without checkin with the engine on for example and the problems still there when he does turn her over, hws he gona know if hes got it? u get me? Quote
TurboTobz Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 That's splitting hairs ^LolHow ever ya wanna try it you have a good list of starting points, if you adjust the idle screw do it with it running so you can hear if it's bringing the revs back down. Quote
PaulStarletSR Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I've got a feelin its his dizzy tbh Quote
PaulStarletSR Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 2 10mm bolts hold it on, perhaps they r loose because it does seem to speed the rpm up or down when altered Quote

TurboTobz Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 ICV is on left of inlet maybe worth checking CTS too (theres two one is just signal to gauges other provides ecu with signals) Quote
