waste gate measurement question

hey I have recently bought a hybrid ct9 with ram horn manifold I am in the process of buying a waste gate but upon measuring the screamer pipe it is like 35mm how do I measure it which bit dobi measure ? im confused any help would be great thanks .

There normally 38mm wastgates
