(NAS) starlet ep82 Posted September 4, 2013 Share Posted September 4, 2013 Hi guysMy last issue with the car is that -I have a LOUD clicking/clunk noise from when turning right & left in full lockJust to give u an idea Sounds abit like the wheels are scraping on plastic arch liners BUT its notI know it sounds like cv joints but i've changed the driverside cv joint but still the same noise in full lock both sides Absolutely puzzles to what it can beHad the both drive shafts out today & inspected them & thre all fineWhat can it possible be ? :-/Car was fine before tuck off road 1 year ago since then had engine & suspension out n refitted it all recently Only other think i know it needs tracking too as fittef track rod ends etc Quote Link to post Share on other sites

(NAS) starlet ep82 Posted September 4, 2013 Author Share Posted September 4, 2013 Hi Cv joints one is brand new fitted last week & the other is 1 year oldHad the shafts out today to inspect & thre all perfectly fine Car was spot on before it went off road 1 year ago & since then been on axle stands removed engine etc& i have BC coilovers so springs are seated proplyBeen on it all day today but still same problem when full lockingHad the track rod ends changed so tracking is out too n tht about it Quote Link to post Share on other sites

However confused you are remember that something is wrong. There's a component somewhere that's not ringing true.
