White13glanza Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Hi guys. Im a newbie at this. The guy I brought my glanza from done some work to the car but i dont know what actually he has done to it.Its running on a manual fan but he took the connection off, soI cant check it. I am hoping this connector is for the fan.could someone tell me what this connector is for. Thanks Ric Quote
kbond Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Looks to me like the fan is plugged in. Looks like the other lambda sensor plug are you running an after market exhaust? Quote
daniel_g Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Unplugged connector (light grey) looks like the cat temp sensor plug, i take it you have a decat ? This removes the temp probe and youre left with a spare plug. Quote
TurboTobz Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 cut it off and throw it over your right shoulder, making sure you insulate the loose ends left on the loom and hit passers by with projectile. Quote
White13glanza Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 Yeah its on a decat pipeThe wire from the fan connects the battery and into the dashboard.Where would normally be the connection for the fan? Thanks Ric Quote
daniel_g Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Is it an aftermarket slim fan ? The fat grey fan plug wire runs along the NSF wing loom and into the fuse/relay box. Its a silver cylinder shaped relay it runs to. Quote
White13glanza Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 This is the rest of the wire connects to the batt Quote
daniel_g Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Its probably on a switch inside the car, i was going to do that with my old GT but i just ran the fan constantly instead. It ran quite hot otherwise. Quote
White13glanza Posted September 9, 2013 Author Posted September 9, 2013 I think its just a sandard fan Ill have to check for that tomorrowThank you mate Quote
