I'm looking to get a new clutch when my gearbox is rebuilt and crank seal done, now I'm looking at 1bar on td04 will I need a uprated clutch or will this do?

I was trying to avoid spending that much on a clutch lol but gonna have to I suppose

This is true the one that's in there atm is stock I think and only slips when the oil from crank seal goes on it but may Aswell up rate it

Clutches for these cars are expensive mate fucke knows why lol just needs to be paid im afraid.

I bought trd clutch of member on tgtt for £50 got new uprated friction plate for £25 and its took td04 at bar with ease never slipped and i drive it hard lol been going strong for year now

i think starlet have same clutch as some mr2's iirc. someone on here must know, might make it cheaper. starlet have premium prices for some reason.

How heavy are these clutches?

Any good for a daily fast road car? Or would a few more puks be better?

What one would best suit if the engine is about 250bhp.
