AdamB Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Elbow grease unless you have the block out and can soak it. Quote
daniel_g Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Gunk de-grease stuff is quite good, comes in an orange tin from halfords. Or use a selection of wire brush drill bits for engines if youre stripping it all off to re-paint it. Quote
jamesglanza Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 I men't the internal parts like getting all the built up crud and lacquer off the inside of the cylinder head when i take it off to fit new stem seals in the winter? Have used paraffin in the past or other stuff left lying around in the lock up but some ones been helpfull and had a clear up so there's nout about now.? Quote

Chris Green Posted October 13, 2013 Posted October 13, 2013 If you've got the head off, stick it in the dishwasher. That's what I did with mine. Quote
