sorry fella, hadnt seen this one :) welcome to the forum mate

we are, but you only posted this a few hours ago, alot of people do leave their computers on the weekend :)

with the glanza, its a fairly reliable car, aslong as it hasnt been owned by muppets, so usual checks when you buy a car really, smoke, oil leaks, oil in water, water in oil etc. general condition.

if its running silly boost (anything above 0.8/9 at a push) with alot of standards parts, id be careful and ask for a test drive, or ask them to take you for a test drive.

ask them to give it some beans, if it hits fuel cut, ask them if they know what it is. if they dont know, walk away as they most likely spend alot of time hitting fuel cut.

alot of the cars on here are well looked after so try buy form here if you can. if not and you see one on ebay, post up a link asking if any one knows it and we'll try our best to help you out

the speed limit cut and fuel cut are two different things mate. speed limit cut is fine and usually comes in around 112-120mph.

fuel cut is bad and comes in alot under boost creep at around 4.5-5k revs and is no good for the engine at all.

there are ways to remove fuel cut, but unless your car is set up to run above the boost pressure that fuel comes in at then its pointless. you may aswell just turn the boost down.

i blew a headgasket in 5 weeks after hitting fuel cut, i then removed fuel cut to run 0.9bar and the hadgasket went the same day.

then after fixing that the ringlands went 3 weeks after because of the fuel cut that the previous owner kept hitting.

you can buy speed limit defenders, which are simple to wire in.

the best option would be aftermarket piggyback management like emanage blue or emanage ultimate are the more popular 2.

that will remove fuel cut, speed limit and is the safest option for making your engine last
