Need some help please guys ?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm looking for some help please guys, no cheeky stuff because at the end of the day I'm only asking for some help and guidance, first sorry if this is in the wrong place.

I am looking to run some more power in my car. I have a jam ecu, apexi exhaust with decat speedvision hybrid with hks actuator running .7bar. Exceedy paddel clutch (can cope with some more power) LSD,uprated ht leads, and standard top mount. Think that's it all,

So.... To get more power obv I can up the boost but I'm keeping it safe justnow.

Question is what can I do with my jam ecu? Can I fit bigger injectors (if so what ones as I know there's a few),

I'm looking for a front mount so that's covered,

What else could I do with the set up I have or extras to buy?

Thanks in advance

I've heard the P&Ps dont like bigger injectors, and standard ones will fuel it fine so you wont need to get uprated ones.

Buy a RRFPR, 255 fuel pump, EBC, FMIC, wideband and an good exhaust manifold, front mounted air filter turn the boost up to a bar and enjoy 200+ bhp with rapid spool.

Should also upgrade the cooling, ie thick rad, and a few oil gauges to keep an eye on things :)

Right sorry dude I didn't know that where can I get and how much are the fuel pumps including everything to fit it ? Ebc? Is that an electronic boost controller?

What's a wideband ?

And what would you class as a good manifold ? And know anyone selling one ? I already have a big rad and filter relocated to the front and again thanks dude, sorry for being such a rookie with this kind of stuff

Tuning developments do fuel pump kits, theres a group buy on atm :) The boost control you get with an electronic boost controller is awesome and when its correctly setup you'll notice a big difference over the whole rev range.

A wideband is a monitoring gauge system which shows you the air/fuel ratio at any given time, it wont make your car faster but it allows you to set your fueling via the RRFPR (or take it to a dyno and let them do it). The P&P ECUs run a rich map anyway.

I like the Zisco manis but race-tech & WEPR are highly rated too :) WEPR have a sale on atm.
