ecu help not reaching 1 bar like it should

I recently went externally gated with a plug and play ecu hybrid turbo etc, I bought the waste gate off of shorty on here so I trust that itbhas a 1 bar spring in it but the car doesnt past pass .8 so normal presure on a standard setup Im puzzled as to why not ive had a look at the ecu and it does look jenuine jam plug and play although im not convinced maybe its a fake ? maybe a closer look at the stickers would be a good idea I dont no basically any help as to why its not boosting to a bar would be great as I dont no where to start. cheers

The ecu won't make car not get to one bar mate. If it was not a genuine jam ecu then you would be hitting fuel cut. I would suggest more than likely a boost leak of some sort. Hope this helps.

I'm by far an expert on turbo's, but I remember reading somewhere, the spring pressure in EWG should be less pressure than the boost.

I'm sure this is only when running a boost controller mate, you use a smaller spring then use the controller to up the boost. Without boost controller you can only run spring pressure. << Please correct me if I'm wrong

Thats correct.

I would say its leaking boost aswell, or exhaust gas, or the spring is weak, or the boost gauge is not reading properly.

Just a few things to check haha.
