Adeeb1395
would you please tell me what kind of work??? is it dangerous to do? i mean would it negatively effect my handling?? Edited November 26, 2013 by Adeeb1395
triple j
u will need to compare bolt patterns, there will be a bit of reaming out bolt holes and welding washers in, its just not that simple to say, its a proper diy job and u need to no what u are at before u toutch them. Adeeb1395
i have checked that the lower mounting bolts are same but the strut tower bolt pattern is different.here is the pics as you can see the space differences between the bolts.i am thinking that if i can use the stock plate and replace it with the tein one or i can custom made a plate for the tein....is any of this possible??? and would it hamper my handling?? Adeeb1395
i only want to use the fronts....by the way thanx mate
Chris Green
Another thing to consider is spring load / compression / extension. Personally I wouldn't bother. Have a look on the Japanese auctions, you may be able to pick some up cheap there.
Rob Scott
just buy some ep top mounts and you will be ok. i guess you just want it for lowering the car rather than handling?
Adeeb1395
no i also want handling...wont i get handling with these???
Tercel-R
They're meant for a heavier car...you'll probably be skipping over bumps instead of getting suspension movement. Could be dangerous in the wet.
Rob Scott
you need suspension to suit the car... damping, and spring rate. also to suit the type of road surface you usually drive on.
