mattyD
The engine would be up for it but not the turbo nor emanage blue, upgrade to a hybrid TD04 and better management and 300 is possible. Have a look at the power leader board and compare some setups.............. http://www.s314kba.co.uk/leaderboard/
_shaun_
Feck the td04 on a forged engine get a proper turbo and aim for atleast 350. It baffles me why people full forge engines and stock td04s or even hybrids on. I ran 1.3 bar on my td04 on a stock engine so sinking 2k plus into just the engine to push it up a whole .1 bar just doesn't make sense Edited December 13, 2013 by _shaun_
Kingcarr
How long did the stock internals last at that power? Lol
_shaun_
i ran it a year then striped it to forge it. had no issues with it at all
Chris_GlanzaV98
Some engines like mine are only rated to 320hp surely people dont want to stick huge blowers on and risk popping the motor, never the less ill be going forIt anyway if it pops it pops
_shaun_
hes said its a stage 3 td engine tho thats the full works so a td04 will be tickling the engine.
Zeldoz
1.3 bar!... It makes me want to map mine @ 1.1 haha! What power did you get from 1.3?
_shaun_
i never put it on the rollers. it was road mapped on a emu i was going for 1.2bar but it kept spiking to 1.3bar so just went ahead with that.
AdamB
You'll prob make about 285bhp. All these stages of engine make me laugh, there's no reason why a so called " stage 2 " motor can't make 350bhp safely and reliably, after that you'll start encountering restrictions in the cylinder head, stock throttle body and possibly even the inlet manifold. caterpiller2
Thanks for the replays guys I would be well happy with any thing over 250 but mabie I will invest in a bigger turbo I just thought a td04 would have done the job
DevonGT
TD04 will get you over 250+.
Turk
I dont see why you have invested in a forged engine and gone for a td04. Id rather spend that money on a standalone and a proper turbo. Emanage blue is shit. If you go forged pls go standalone. Just having DIS would make a big enough difference. I recon if u had a standalone u would see around 300 on a td04. Not all about getting the biggest figures. And at least he can only upgrade from here, and got the engine to cope already.

Theres loads of turbos out there that will spool up earlier then a td04 give 300hp and a better response because they are ball bearing. For example a gt28. Going forged is ok to besafe. Im not against that. people have a misconseption when i say get a better turbo. Not a bigger one. You see the management system is so important. I personally think emanage blue isnt good enough for a forged lump. Atleast an ultimate.
