Rear number plate light randomly gone out..

Changed my front sidelights and rear number plate lights for some SMD / LED's, all worked fine but the one number plate light won't work at all now, I've swapped the SMD's all around and it's still only the 1 light that's not coming on..

Do the 2 lights have separate fuses or something? Any ideas?

Have you checked the contact points on the bulb? SMDs are prone to some of the contact points not touching where they need to be.

Nope, but I'll have a look!

Alright, I tried all the combinations of bulbs and positions, then swapped the actual bulb holders round, and it turns out that's where the fault is..

Yeah I'll give it a shot tomorrow, can't hurt to try

My indicator done this , turned out the earth strip had gone flat and wasn't making contact so I got a pin and made it stick out so would make contact worked a treat
