JayJ
ICV is in closed state when car is on idle, so when you unplug it you won't notice any difference. If the valve is broken/leaking you will get steady high idle around 1100-1300

I need to calibrate my tps. Im not sure why i have shit idle. Also when i put my head lights on the idle goes up to about 900rpm and idles nicely. Anyone had this problem. Sorry for stealing thread

Sorry for stealing thread Possibly an alternator or battery issue? it seems the lights are pulling more current than the engine can produce so it has to idle up to spin the alternator fast enough to keep up with the current draw.
