benglanza94
Hi guys, I'm unsure on what type of LSD I have. It's not OEM oneIt's extremely aggresive, I've been in a car with a Cusco LSD and mine SEEMS more aggresive.Any clues ? What LSD's are this aggresive ? Edited January 14, 2014 by benglanza94
AdamB
Cusco is probably the harshest but it depends what oil your using. I would recommend changing the oil to something decent.
benglanza94
perhaps! i have a feeling it is cusco. i have oil ordered so ill see what that does to it
turbo Grant
Could be an ats diff. The one I have in the 70 is nice and clunky
Kingbx95
My diff (sold as Cusco) is massively clunky and very aggressive. Almost to much for a road car tbh.Oil can play a big part but as I understand it so does the initial break in procedure. If it hasn't been broken in properly it will be clunky. Also the preload of the springs can be adjusted as well extra plates can be put into a Cusco diff. All these factors play a big part imho

benglanza94
Cusco. thats what everyone seems to say, I'm starting to think it is now!
seab
Cusco mz is the worst. Had it in my last car. Awesome diff though.
Stu
It could just be a clutch plate type LSD with a lot of preload? If it is and its too much for your liking its easy to shave the shim down for a lower break away torque
