glanza89
Hi guys Recently upgraded to ct9 hybrid I think it's tongs , External wastegate screamer zisco mani ect But for some reason unlike the ct9 it takes ages to spool , like 3500 rpm ?? Presuming this ain't normal ? When it does spool it goes pretty quick .She made 174 bhp at 1 bar and 155 lbs torque .Just wondering if anyone know what I need to do to sort this issue
DevonGT
3500 rpm is not ages.
daniel_g
My TD04 used to spool faster lol, thing somethings up with that. I'd be checking for loose IC pipe clamps, holes in pipes, exhaust leaks before the turbo etc. Is it actuator or EWG? Also do you have an EBC
glanza89
Ewg but I just have manual boost controller so could be my issue I think guys :)'
RobSR
Id suggest boost leak also. Quite a low figure for one bar, and they shouldn't really be laggy those turbos. Take the manual ebc off, and check all your IC pipes etc.
Socks
mbc are shit tbh.... ebc you'd see a huge gain in spool... But yeh check the obv... leaks. etc
glanza89
Thanks guys , hit more issues yesterday oil pissing out from the oil feed from turbo to sump I'm hoping its just the gasket ... Lost a lot of oil , so hopefully everything is ok not my luck recently .Might have to mot my mk1 golf gti sooner than I thought while getting issues sorted as misses won't give up the Audi for work haha
Jordk
Get your intercooler pipework sorted mate. It's pretty shocking from what I seen! Will make a huge difference not having the silicone sitting on the exhaust mani!
