Item For Sale: Forged 5E-FTE

Item Condition & Description:

1.5Litre Turbo charged, 5E-FTE, includes all receipts for parts and machine shop work. Engine is in sound working order and currently being driven around in my sleeper EP70. Can be seen running before purchase and really does pull like a train! Currently running 275hp at 1.3 bar on emanage blue, mapped by tuning developments.

Selling up out of the blue as a house I want to buy with the mrs has come up, so need every penny i can get my hands on! Engine is ready to drop straight into any starlet. I am going to be breaking the whole car now, a shame but needs must and cars can always be rebuilt :) As soon as i have a buyer for the engine, the rest of the car will go for sale. PM me if your interested in any of my parts to put dibs on.

In case you are unfamiliar with the 5e engine, its a hybrid of the standard engine which makes it into a 1.5 litre rather than the standard 1.3 litre, this allows you to have a TD04 which spools like a CT9, or you can run bigger blowers for more power. There is also a significant torque difference off boost too, so the car drives much better off boost.

NO DONT DO IT! Nah best reason for selling up but think you should stick a forsales thread up for the whole car aswell to give it a chance of staying in on peace and just wait to see what sells first.

I originally used an Athena 1.4mm gasket but I found that it wasnt sealing properly, I had a very light film of oil on the corner of the block where the tab is. Apparently a common problem with them, so i decided to bin it when i had the head off next and swapped it for a Toyota OEM.

I know mate and it's a decent price but it'd just sit in storage for a while until I was ready to use it. Want to set the 4paw up properly before running an epic spec like this through it.

Sorry for clogging up your sale!
