robwob88 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Hi all. Ive just bought myself my very 1st glanza. The brakes are pretty shit and could do with upgrading or replacing pretty quickly. I don't fancy doing a big brake upgrade yet. Just after a decent set of disks and pads that are good for fast road and the occasional track day. Any recommendations? Quote

Jamie5414 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Yes, a lot better then stock Glanza brakes, I have grooved, they are very sharp and response is spot on, they are noisy when cold though best when warmed up Quote
mech5107 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Stock brakes are pretty decent with good pads and properly adjusted free-play Quote
robwob88 Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 I've got a master cylinder brace thing in the engine bay, racing fluid and braided lines already. Just need some decent rotors and pads as mine are just dangerous now! Quote
robwob88 Posted March 25, 2014 Author Posted March 25, 2014 Anybody got a link to buy wms disks? Quote
Ollieh17 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 i use the 110% disks (non grooved) and green stuff pads, seem more than adequate on the roads Quote
Keri-WMS Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 Anybody got a link to buy wms disks? Here you go! :-) http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/72471-discspads-for-toyota-calipers-inc-wms-110-heavy-duty/ On the shelf - in plain and grooved, they are a 10% thicker casting than normal discs which stiffens them up to absorb abuse, hence the "110%"!
