mikey4410
if u have the green slip from the main v5 before it got sent away yes
Eynonz
I believe that you are allowed to drive a car to an MOT testing station without tax so long as the appointment is booked. Edited April 1, 2014 by Eynonz
kbond
You only need a v5 to tax a car nowThe car needs to have an mot but you don't need it with you only the v5

daniel_g
I can't do it online 'If you have recently purchased this vehicle and you have not received your full Registration Certificate (log book) from DVLA (the green slip alone is not enough) you should NOT use this service. If you do use this service without having received your full Registration Certificate (log book) from DVLA then your new tax disc may be sent to the previous keeper of the vehicle.'
