natural born nutter Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Just bought myself a nice glanza v and i have a few questions. Firstly my car was running 1 bar of boost on the stock ct9 but was suffering from boost creep so i backed the boost of to standard. It had a bleed valve which I took off but its still boost creeping would an electronic boost controller stop this? Quote
Sparky Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Welcome to UKSC mate Very wise decision you done there, some sort of Boost controller should help aswell as an uprated acuator but I'd wait for a turbo nut to confirm this if I was you Looking forward to seeing pics of your V Quote

riko666 Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 I occasionally do, either via my University or I'll go on a trackday and I'll invite people along - Oulton Park would be a good one to go to as it's right there in Stockport (or thereabouts) Quote
shelly_star Posted November 24, 2007 Posted November 24, 2007 Welcome to UKSC Has your actuator been changed? Quote
Jozinobi Posted November 25, 2007 Posted November 25, 2007 Welcome to uksc mate. Its nice you are interested in trackdays, give the car more of a purpose after tuning.Joz Quote
natural born nutter Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 I dont think my actuator has been changed would that be the reason for the boost creep. Im saving up for a td04 conversion or maybe a t28 , which is better? Quote
natural born nutter Posted November 25, 2007 Author Posted November 25, 2007 Does anyone go to santa pod. I went to Jap show finale in october , there was quite a few starlets there but no club stand. I managed 1 run up the strip but just as i was about to run , i managed to snap my bleed valve off and had to bodge the pipes together with tape . I only managed a 17 second run because i was a bit weary of what boost the car was going to run . Quote
