JDMfreak Posted April 15, 2014 Posted April 15, 2014 do you have tubular manifold or standard box manifold on some theres a idle screw that can be adjusted there's a little black bung covering it you can see it here arrowed in the picture Quote
mikey4410 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 thats not goin to help idle and that isnt the way to fix it. it should idle at 600 or 700 no probs at all dude without shaking.the idle adjust screw is near the throttle opening .do not use the wax stat idle adjuster Quote
fiddlersport Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Hello manifold is similar to the picture above but with out the idle screw, the idle control valve is below the throttle body, can it be cleaned out ? Quote
Xpect Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I controlled idle via the throttle cable screw. Was that wrong? Quote
Beastmode panda Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Are your engine mounts poly bushed? Quote
fiddlersport Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 standard mounts from day 1, dont see the need for polybushed mounts on a 1.3 N/A Quote
fiddlersport Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 I was on the motorway on a long journey and when i came off the motorway engine was really smooth, the long run must have sorted it out Quote
