Eynonz Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Feel like putting my TD fuel rail on during the weekend, but have never changed one before. Anything I should watch out for, things I need to know? Quote
karl. Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 I assume its going to be the same sort of setup with my zisco one. Make sure you have plenty of ptfe tape and install that on the threads correctly as I had alot of bother with mine. Quote
Jim* Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Piece of piss mate 2 bolts to undo it from the head, then just the fittings either end Quote
Eynonz Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Doesnt sound to bad . I assume that if it's done without the PTFE tape, then fuel will be pissing out of the Rail? Quote

Ended up having to use copper washers and everything but hopefully the TD rails are alot easier to install Quote
TrisK Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Check you have the right fittings for your fpr dude. An6 Quote
Eynonz Posted April 16, 2014 Author Posted April 16, 2014 Got the right fittings ...... but my Injector seals have seen better days, and I almost choked on my cup of Tea when I saw how much replacements cost. Quote
dangeestarlet Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 The 0 rings that go into fuel rail or ones the other ones ? If it's the 0 rings you can get them from any car part shop and buy them separate , only like 5p each Quote
Eynonz Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 Copper washers work to make a decent seal? What about rubber ones? Quote
