Will square light ecu work in quad light

Hi all will a square light 82 ecu straight swap into a quad light

smal bit of custom wiring but its really simpel to do

i have to apoligise mate i thought i read quad light !!!!!!

ecu it will work but again you will nead to compare the pinouts and make a few adjustments ( 3 wires ) i think not much work i think al 3 pin outs are on jays site tgtt

Ok thanks ill have a look at the pin outs to double check it's hard to find p&p ecu for quad light

nope there is plenty off p&p ecus for the gt bit pricey tho around the 500 mark

I've looked at the code on the ecu I got black label 10100.

Then new ecu im looking to get from the squre light gt is the same code does this mean the wires still need swapping

Its only the MK1 ECU that has a different pinout iirc, MK2 & 3 are the same.

I see thanks what model is the mk1 do they have a different code and colour label

A MK1 GT is from '89 - '91

I have an ECU from a MK1 somewhere and i think the label on it is green. The code will be different aswell yeah.
