abs and airbag

My 98 glanza has abs but no abs light on dash . And i have air bag in steering wheel but no air bag light on dash ? Whats should i do , i have MOT soon lol

Check it has bulbs in the back of the cluster I'd say abs has a problem that's why its light has been dissable and the same for the air bag

Ther is a bit of tape over the abs light ?

Test the abs system I'll find out how when I'm home and post here

The abs system does not work . If i slam the brakes the car will lock up

Check the ABS fuse first of all, you can also do a fault code check on the ABS system.

Thats probably why a previous owner put tape over the light.

Back hander mot my abs is coming out before next mot has a fault that makes it come in asoon as I press the brake so main fuse for it is pulled.

But if the last mot was a fake . Y would the owner of put tape over the abs light then ?

Not fake just blind eye to the abs light because it's well annoying with an orange light in your face I have one covering the engine management light lol

Just so you guy know, srs light is only a failure if the light stays on, if it dosent come on at all, you can only advise it. And the eml lights arnt a failure yet, it's supposed to be, but there's no option to fail it yet

what oggy said is false, a airbag light or abs light has to light up upon start up for 1-5 seconds then go out, if the light does not come on at all its a failure
