Jay2ohh
right swapped the engines over on the starlet, got a GT turbo engine and the problem is leaking water out the inlet manifold place, so do i need to use a GT gasket AND gt inlet mani? because it wont fire up cus of this problem with water spilling out in certain places, brand new battery everything all plugged in wired up etc just this problem now, i am sick to death of it, was meant to be a straight swap over and i cant afford a forged engine, or a trailer to TD or race tech and leave it in there hands -.- got a lot of money in this car and i dont think with parts and stripping i will make back 2k or more
Chops
What do you mean its leaking water from the inlet mani area? theres a line to the water pump under it, its probably that leaking bud.
wickedep
relax mate...on some cylinder heads...there is a small square cooling port. some heads have it...some dont. you'rs most likely does. this coolant port is usually blocked off when you install the intake manifold. which intake manifold are you using ? jamesglanza
If your using a gt engine or cylinder head in an ep91/glanza then use the ep91 inlet mani with the gt inlet gasket (the one with the square water way) an it will work fine. Have done this in the past.
